Oh yes, you surely can. All the PMU procedures are minimally invasive and would not normally interfere with your work routine. Swelling or redness if at all is minimal. However it is advised that you could schedule your procedures in such a way that you do not have an important social event or heavy physical work or an upcoming vacation that might expose you to harsh sun in next few days.

In some conditions it is better to not perform Permanent Makeup and in some its good to postpone and plan it well. We avoid or postpone PMU in pregnant women, uncontrolled diabetes or blood pressure, bleeding disorders, use of certain prescription medicine, keloid tendency, local infections or dermatitis, sun burn etc.

Results of any good micropigmentation procedure are of Semi permanent nature. Typically after 12-18 month, as pigments fade, one may require touch up to pep-up the look. Since Immune system/ skin type/ lifestyle etc of individuals are different, the life of PMU results also may vary.

You will be provided a written After care instructions by your artist. You have to strictly follow these for best outcomes. You will be guided on how and when to clean and wash the worked upon area and also about avoidance of some sweaty activities, sun exposure etc. You shall be provided with a little pack of After care cream that you shall apply as prescribed for next few days. You shall be provided with a list of dos and dos for after care of the eyeliner. You will have to avoid wearing any contact lenses, mascara and any other chemical or physical procedures in the eye area for next few days. A complimentary secondary sitting comes bundled in your fees. The second sitting is usually scheduled between 30-45 days after the first. During this sitting the artist observes and evaluates the retention of pigment in the client particular’s skin, shape, size etc of the work and does any rectifications or filling ins or minimal changes if the client her/himself desires some legitimate changes in the work.

The number of sittings to remove/ fade a faulty brow/ liner procedure done by untrained artist elsewhere, would depend upon the kind of pigment used, size of work area and deposition technique used by previous service provider. Also it would be helpful to know the brand of pigment used for your procedure, to be able to offer the highest levels of precision in removal. Usually It takes a minimum of 2-3 sittings.

The results of micropigmentation procedures are of semi-permanent nature. It means that they start fading with time and require touchups every 12-18 months to maintain the aesthetics of the work. Also even if they fade, it is unusual that they would fade off completely any time soon. The results of these procedures are not of temporary nature. Due to this the clients are advised to make their decisions with calm mind. Also one must be aware that in some religions, marking of the bodies for aesthetic reasons may not be welcome.
